Where it began.

In 2000, I started my first year at university in Ukraine. That same year, I entered the beauty industry. I could not imagine then that this work would stay with me for so many years, or that one day I would return to it in America and start my own business.I was lucky to join a very talented team at a beauty salon. We loved our work, and there was always something happening. We worked with clients, prepared for competitions, took part as judges, and taught others. I learned so much from the people around me. It was a busy, creative time, and it became a big part of my life.

Little by little, I built my reputation as a nail technician. My schedule became full, and many clients stayed with me for years. Among them were celebrities, politicians, and athletes. But the most special part was the trust. People came back, brought their friends, and shared small pieces of their lives with me. Through this work, I learned how much attention, patience, and care can mean to someone.

After university, I also wanted to build a career in marketing, the profession I had studied. It was a new beginning. In the beauty industry, I already had experience and loyal clients. In marketing, I still had a lot to learn. For several years, I lived between these two professions. Both needed my time and energy. It was not always easy, but each gave me something valuable. Working as a nail technician, trained in the careful Ukrainian school of detail, taught me to understand people personally. Marketing helped me understand how businesses grow and how brands connect with their customers.

In 2016, after sixteen years in beauty, I decided to give all my attention to marketing. I worked in an advertising agency, an insurance company, a large corporation, and a telecommunications company. Each experience added something to the way I think and work today.During those years, I often thought about having my own business. I imagined how I would build it, what kind of experience I would create for my clients, and how I would develop my personal brand. I wanted a place for my ideas, my experience, and my own way of doing things.

In 2022, my family and I moved from Ukraine to the United States. So much was new, and I had to think again about what I wanted to do next. Beauty became part of my life again. This time, I returned with years of experience in another profession and a dream I was ready to begin.I started my own small business.Today, I use everything I have learned along the way. My experience as a nail technician guides my hands, and the Ukrainian care for detail goes into every appointment. My marketing background helps me plan and develop my business. Working closely with people for so many years reminds me to listen and give each client my attention.

There is something very special about returning to work you loved when you were young and discovering how much you still enjoy it. I feel that joy now, together with the responsibility of building something of my own.My business is still growing, and so am I. After all these years, I am happy to bring so many parts of my life together, and a piece of Ukraine with me, and finally give this dream a place in the world.
